He obtained his degree in Political Sciences and Public Administration in the School of Political and Social Sciences at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). His PhD. is in Public Administration, granted by the same School. At the moment he is Full Time Professor, level C, at UNAM and is National Researcher, level III, in the National System of Researches, CONACYT. He is also member of the National Academy of Sciences and of the Seminary of Mexican Culture. He was awarded in 1980 with the medal Gabino Barreda for having the maximum average in the postgraduate studies, and with the National Award of Public Administration in 1979, granted by the INAP. He was also recognized with the Award ANUIES in 2006. His field of study includes administrative and political subjects. His written work includes more than one hundred publications covering books, articles and pamphlets. |
